Facial Recognition for Privacy International
Commissioned by Privacy International as part of an ongoing project to investigate and raise awareness of Facial Recognition technology, specifically Clearview AI. Finally, an opportunity to draw professionally the dystopian corpocracies and sinister law enforcement operatives which have haunted my sketchbooks since I was about ten.
This follows a previous project to create a COVID-19 facemask with a camouflage pattern that might, in the right circumstances, briefly mislead the lower end of the FR market. I'll write that up later as it's a complex project encompassing training an API-enabled FR AI to recognise pictures of Boris Johnson, 3D modelling and some mind-melting discussions with experts in the field (spoiler: FR wins).
